Dimitris Messinis

Mindspace Founder

Dimitris has started and is leading Mindspace. He has held innovation-related roles in a variety of environments, such as science & business consultant at Philip Morris, data scientist at the U.S. Food & Drug Administration in Washington DC, Associate at the Venture Capital firm BlueDome and program leader at the biotech startup Protavio. He is an International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) alumnus of the U.S. Department of State. He has a PhD in Systems Pharmacology and a diploma in Mechanical Engineering (NTUA) and is an Executive MBA candidate at Quantic.

Chief Digital Officer at Alpha Bank

Before joining Alpha Bank as CDO, Michalis has been with Eurobank for 14 years, serving in several important functions, most recently as CDO. Prior to joining Eurobank he served as Manager, Strategic Initiatives at HSBC plc Greece, and as a Management Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. He holds an MBA from the Simon School of Business of the University of Rochester, and a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.

Marily Nika

AR/VR Product @ Google | Executive Fellow @ Harvard

Based in San Francisco, Marily Nika works for Google as a Speech AI Product Manager. Marily holds a Ph.D in Computer Science & Epidemiology from Imperial College London and is also a part-time Teaching Fellow at Harvard Business School's Analytics Program where she runs a forum series on Product Management. She was also the first greek woman to receive Google’s Anita Borg Scholarship. Marily has delivered three TEDx talks and has received international recognition, including the Woman of the Year 2018 Award by everywoman as well as the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Influence Award in 2015, for empowering the Women in tech community in various ways. She is also actively involved in the startup scene, loves hackathons and serves as an advisor for startups in the EdTech and HealthTech space, while mentoring early-stage startups.

He is also Co-founder of e-shop.gr, e-food.gr (sold to Delivery hero is 2015), and doctoranytime. He is investor and board member in theBeat.co (sold to Daimler in 2017) He is investor in 30+ startups.

Marina Hatsopoulos

Marina Hatsopoulos is an entrepreneur and angel investor. She is Chairperson of the Board and investor in Levitronix Technologies, the worldwide leader in magnetically levitated bearingless motor technology. She is a Director of Cynosure Inc., a $300 million leader in laser aesthetics. Ms. Hatsopoulos was the Founding CEO in Z Corporation (3D printing) from 1994 through its successful sale in 2005. She holds a B.A. from Brown University and an M.S. from MIT.

Katerina Pramatari

Katerina is the founder of two technology start-ups and of a leading University accelerator. Katerina is Associate Professor at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and scientific coordinator of the ELTRUN-SCORE research group. She is among the top European experts/academics in the fields of Internet-of-Things, retail and business analytics. She has worked for Procter & Gamble. She holds a BSc in Informatics and MSc in Information Systems from AUEB, and a PhD in Information Systems and Supply Chain Management also from AUEB.

Adam Nicolopoulos

Investment Banking; Power & Infrastructure, Entrepreneur

Adam is the Founder and CEO at ADN Capital Ventures, Inc. Prior to ADN, Adam spent over 17 years with UBS (London, Zurich, New York and San Francisco) focusing on funding transportation infrastructure including roads, airports, ports and mass transit systems and energy/power generation assets. In the US, his experience includes advising public sector entities (TxDOT, NJDOT, Caltrans and other state DOTs) as well as private companies. On the private side, he has also advised investors, international contractors and developers in structuring optimal financing solutions (bonds, bank debt and/or equity financing) and implementing selected financings. Internationally, in 2003, he brought the first ever rated project bond to the market for a road project in Eastern Europe. Adam holds an MBA from Stern School of Business at NYU (graduated with honors on a full university scholarship), an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley (honors) and a BSc in the same field from Columbia University. He was Visiting Scholar at Stanford University for four years and has had speaking engagements at over 30 national and international conferences on topics relating to financing infrastructure, PPPs and financial innovation.

Anastasia Simeonidou

Marketing Coordinator 

Anastasia is a graduate of Business Administration. She was involved in several start-ups for over 3 years, having participated in an entrepreneurial program in Germany. The marketing germ grows inside her day by day, working as a Digital Marketing Specialist in a tech-company and dedicating most of her free time in Marketing and Communications Management at Mindspace. Her goal is to establish her own Marketing company with a dynamic and passionate team by her side.

Veronica A. Podotas

Business Operations Manager

Veronica A. Podotas is a Greek American undergraduate student at the Athens University of Economics and Business in the department of Business Administration, and Deree: The American College of Greece in the department of International Business. She has participated as a volunteer, besides Mindspace, in multiple different organisations from a young age, such as the Elepap rehabilitation centre for the disabled, the Erasmus Student Network in Greece and Oloi Mazi Mporoume.

Vassia Soma

Athens, Greece

Vassia is an undergraduate student at the Department of Management Science and Technology, Athens University of Economics and Business. Apart from Mindspace, she is a volunteer at multiple Non Profit Organizations and entrepreurship clubs. She was, also, the creator of Entrepreneurship Explained, a YouTube series on Mindspace’s YouTube channel.

Mary Markaki

Advisor for Business Development

Before joining Mindspace, Mary has been a Team Leader and a Senior Business Development Manager for three years in one of the most successful Greek tech startups, Workable. Prior to that, she was abroad working in a consulting company as a Project Manager Associate. While becoming very familiar with the entrepreneurship scene in Berlin, she got a full EU funded scholarship for her startup idea “NutriCons” combining her academic background and her exposure to the upcoming “Digital age”. She is also a Senior Fellow in Humanity In Action global NPO and a marathon athlete.

Ilias Vartholomaios is the CEO & Co-Founder of Owiwi, a talent assessment platform that measures soft skills through a game-based assessment tool; with the mission to help companies hire the best talent. Having obtained certifications in Gamification, Neuroscience, Digital & Data-Driven Marketing   Ilias also possesses a solid understanding of the science behind game-play and the psychological merits of this immersive virtual environment.

Kamila Sidor

Kamila Sidor is a social entrepreneur and public speaking teacher. In 2011, she co-founded Geek Girls Carrots which executed technology projects for women in 31 cities in 17 countries all over the world. For a few years she worked in a large bank and a VC fund. In 2017 she participated in a prestigious American program for social leaders - IVLP. In 2014 she was listed on the "New Europe 100" - a list of innovation leaders in Central-Eastern Europe. Since 2018 she lives in Berlin where she runs workshops on public speaking and mindfulness.
